Issue One page 19 11 Comments I frown at at her not knowing what a sphinx is. D:< <— See this? That's me, frowning. Eeeh, a lot of people only know about the Egyptian sphinx, not the wingaling type ala Oedipus. I thought she was a Griffon o-e Griffons have the head and front legs of a giant eagle, and are not usually depicted as being much if any smarter than an animal. In all fairness, without a mirror she can’t get that good a look at herself. She knows her hindquarters and forearms are cat-like and that she has wings, but without some sort of full-body view, that may not be enough for her to piece together a real conclusion, let alone properly label it. And if you would look to your bottom right, you’ll plainly see some type of Nosferatu. those are mayapples. I had them in my backyard growing up. spent years calling them “weird alien umbrella plants” until I thought to look them up (and it took a while to find what they were) I’ve had dreams about my teeth falling out before. Never ended up as a mythical animal though. Some people have all the luck. I would kill to have that one as a nightmare. I get the dream where I find a small hole in my teeth that turns into and ever growing hole and I just keep picking at it until I’m doing horrible things to my mouth. (not going into too much detail, you’re welcome) I don’t think I’d want to be a sphinx. Be a mythical creature and still have to wear the shirt and bra combo? No thanks! She’s like me with dreams where your teeth fall out. I had a few. I dunno whether to give her credit for even knowing what kind of body parts she had given the circumstances, OR KICK HER FOR NOT KNOWING WHAT A SPHINX IS, GOD! (<See this? This is me kidding. Also slightly miffed.) Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
