Know this is older than sin to say, but….Rawhead and Bloody Bones? About the only folklore i can think of from that area of the states…but i thought he was farther south, and a bit to the east….

Didn’t I see this guy as a boss monster in House of the Dead 3?

No, with the exception of the claws/talons, the body is all wrong. The limbs are far too short and this thing has fangs. A couple other things are missing as well, such as the giant cage and desert compound. If you change those and give it ten to twenty years to grow, you may get the uber-sloth known as The Fool.

    New Skin Deep Page!

I will be at VanCAF this weekend! Table J2 in Hall 2! Come by and see me! I’ll have my new book, Greetings, from Dogpatch, as well as my new InCryptid Field Guide postcard books, Extinct Animal print, and much more! I will also be on a panel on Sunday at noon!

I’ll also be at the Cloudscape Book Launch on Friday at 6pm! I’ll be officially launching Greetings, from Dogpatch alongside Cloudscape Comics’ Mega auna, Boumeries Vol 5, Oliver Hine’s Calm Down, Karla Pacheco’s Inspector Pancakes! What a party! I’m so excited to be part of it!

And speaking of Karla Pacheco, we worked together on a comic for the New World Anthology!! The kickstarter launched a couple days ago and is ALREADY funded, wow!!! But there are still a lot of great stretch goals to unlock, so if you haven’t backed it yet, wow you probably should!
