Nixie Spit 3 – Smooth, Jim

I had too much fun drawing this page.

Thanks to you lovely people, my Kickstarter has been SUPER MEGA FUNDED!! I am going to be spending the rest of the year armpit-deep in Borogove stuff, and I couldn’t be happier! Yippee!!

To celebrate the successful funding as well as my 2 Year Wedding Anniversary I have decided to update the comic early! ENJOY

Oh, wow. Should have expected that. After all, isn’t every myth ever with water creatures have them need to get you in the water to muck with ya? heh.

Hi Kory!

For your amusement:
This is the first page of Skin Deep I’ve read since Exchanges ended. Upon seeing the first panel, I thought to myself…

“My god, he’s such a slut.”

Also, your artwork becomes more sophisticated with every page. It’s a pleasure flipping through pages and watching the transition. It reminds me a little of the style of Carla McNeil.

Mixed messages. Merial has them.

Square bum. Jim has it.

Hilarity. This comic has lots of it.

Also, the prospect of her ability to HURL a 7 foot tall man, regardless of form, is terrifying. Do not piss off the Nixie.

Next time:

Jim: Uulgh! Hack! Glug!

Merial: Why didn’t that work? Maybe I didn’t…

Greg: Merial! Jim! What happened?!

Merial: That must be it… Greg! Get over here! And… no your anatomy’s good.

When in doubt, Jim’s survival instinct is to flash everyone around him with his nekkid gryphon booty.

Also, the alt text was definately made for Jim’s face in panel four.

*snort* For some reason the thing I find most interesting is that Jim’s eyes look just like a cat’s when they’re closed in human form.
Tis awesome.
Ohjeeze Merial, you couldn’t give him a little warning?
It’s Jim. I’m fair sure he’d go along with it.

Huh, one would think the question is how in the world she managed to lift a seven foot tall guy and throw him in the water. :P

Hah XD I don’t know why but I find his reversion back to gryphon form most amusing in this page, it just looks ridiculously ungraceful
