Reader Question 4

Selkies and Kelpies because Scotland has some rad (creepy) water critters. I hope to give some spotlight to Zeke some day because he is a surly ol’ grump.

I guess when you consider its average yearly rain fall, Scotland is very conducive to aquatic creatures.

Not really meant as a question for the fillers, but rather for this filler here. Why everyone keeps forgetting good ol’ fachans, or otherwise known as peg-leg-jacks?

Reader question:
Are there real sea gryphons that exist? Or are they merely the product of nixie spit like Jim getting a fish butt?

Hi sorry I can’t work out where to go to ask questions. Do we just ask here?

I’ve been wondering for the longest times if there are any Australian monsters floating about? Is the bunyip real? The yowie? The Rainbow Snake? Dropbears? D:
What should I be afraid of in the dark? D:

Just a comment from a Scottish reader, here — aside from the water creatures, we also have quite a population of Cu Sidhe (a local type of the Black Dogs) and, more uniquely to Scotland, the Cait Sidhe (recent individuals of which are also known as Kellas Cats, after one particularly famous individual killed near the town of Kellas. Silly bugger).

Yeah, for the kelpie, according to the stories, they look like horses until you notice their hooves are backwards. If you notice that fast enough, GTFO. If not, leave a good-looking corpse.
