And we’re back! I got restless so I’m updating a day early! I hope to keep chugging along with Skin Deep through my conventions and shipping Borogove, but there’s a chance I might miss and update or two during the run, but I really want to have Skin Deep updating during my conventions!

Speaking of conventions! I will be at Furry Fiesta this weekend! If you’re around Dallas stop by! It will be your first chance to get Borogove (which I didn’t plan on, I had hoped the Kickstarter backers would have their stuff already, but I SHOULD get them the week after Furry Fiesta I BETTER GET THEM). Magnolia will be there too, helping me out and selling Monster Pulse merch! Come by!

Next week I’m heading out to FURRY FIESTA in Dallas, Texas! I have TWO complete pages of Skin Deep ready to go up, so there will be an update NEXT TUESDAY and the TUESDAY AFTERWARDS and hopefully all the Tuesdays afterwards.

I’m SUPPOSED to get my Borogove cards after Furry Fiesta (I should have a box AT the con, too) so there might be some hiccups in updates while I am shipping those out. I’m kind of playing it by ear right now! Woooo.

I realized I never drew a fullform bugbear before so I thought I’d RECTIFY THAT.

His wife helps him keep the wings free of ingrown feathers and he has the remaining flight feathers removed for better movement. For some reason the wiki says that he was attacked by a manticore but I don’t think I’ve ever stated exactly how he lost his limbs, unless I have forgotten about that one time I gave wrong information to my fans on accident!

Sorry for all the Hank Feebay! I just love him! I usually try not to draw characters that haven’t been in the comic more than just a few throwaway drawings, but Hank isn’t really a super important character so it’s not spoiling anything to let y’all know a little more about him.

You’d think that Elise and Hank would not be able to see eye to eye on anything at all, but when it comes to politics Elise is in favor of no government at all while Hank is in favor of whatever it takes to get everybody to leave him alone and let him do his own thing in peace.

Oh wow look what I spent too much time messing with last night! A HUGE thanks to Dave Shabet of Dead Winter for teaching me the ways of the two-frame 3D gif and drawing out a guide for me to follow.

Sometimes y’all come up with questions that I just have flat out never thought about before.

Reader questions have been going on for a while now, and I’m sure y’all are wondering when Skin Deep will start up again! It’s taken longer than I expected for Borogove to get here (story of my life) but I’ve been told that it’s expected to ship to me within the next few days and I hope that’s true!

My plan right now is to work on Skin Deep and build up a buffer so I can update the comic while I’m gone at conventions during the end of February through April, so the comic should start up again in like 2 weeks.
