I just want to come here from the future to say that I have been sharing this fact with people for years ever since first reading it in this Q&A way back then, and everyone is always fascinated. So thank you for the ~11ish? years of fan favorite fun fact material. <3

have apparently yet to convince my brain that it’s not just 2020-part-5, and 2016 wasn’t 4 years ago, so just over-corrected my math instead
Have you ever seen the inside of an avocado pit?
That’s apparently not actually true (but was thought to be the case until pretty recently).
