To be honest, my first though when I saw the image was Owl House.
I would not be shocked if the Owl House one was based on this reference.
Same. The Chonchon looks a lot like the “Bat Queen” from TOH. I wonder if that’s where the show got the idea for her. Still, neat to learn that flying head is common across multiple cultures.
Me, I was first reminded of D&D’s Vargouille. Another one with bat wings too.
