If there’s one thing you can be sure of on this planet earth, it’s that Alec and Kevin will never agree on anything.

A family can have only so many medallions. How much do they pay attention to this when deciding to have kids? Like ‘we’d like to have a fourth child, but all the medallions are spoken for and I haven’t seen any of them type for sale.’ How would you decide which child gets to turn? Especially in mixed-species marriages when you’re just guessing the child’s species?
I kinda love the idea of Alec lowkey using Kevin as a barometer of which spooky critters have become too mainstream/memefied for him to declare cool.
Personally, I’m of the belief that Mothman is a verrry lost gamayun. Large, slightly humanoid prophetic bird?
Two questions:
1) What sort of plumage is available to Harpies? That is, can any look like tropical birds, magpies, or so on?
2) IRL reindeer eyes change from gold in summer to blue in winter and a number of creatures tend to have one pelt color in summer and a different (usually white) one in winter; do any liminals undergo similar seasonal changes?
