Still wondering why Merial’s clothes don’t just disappear when she turns, would make things easer and it seems it’s what ahppens for the other, right ?


Maybe her shape is human enough that the magic doesn’t think her clothing needs to disappear since it still fits? It only takes physical limitations into account, like size and shape, not practicality?
