I get the feeling that this is just eleanor messing with them.
Yep, really does feel like Eleanor at this point.
That said though, this is meant to be a story about Dragons, so I hope to be surprised….
This was awesome! Just had to let you know!
I’d love to be able to see Jim’s face in that fourth panel
I expect it’s a mix of panic and indignation from being carried by Lorne like that
The trees are speaking draconian
Oh my, that Mr. Dodo pin looks great!
I thought it was Rupert messing with them. They’ve done enough ignoring his warnings for him to get ticked off at them. He can justify it as trying to get them to take the danger seriously. And he’s a local who’d probably know which things in the forest can be used for impromptu pyrotechnics.
Remember, even in boring old mundane reality, we do have such a thing as a dynamite tree. And we do have swamps where methane rises to the surface, sometimes in concentrations so thick as to support open flame on the water. Who knows what they’ve got in Wunderland’s forests? Rupert, that’s probably who.
And we used to have the Ohio river, which caught fire frequently. I understand it’s been cleaned up since then
And in Wonderland we have families of Bandersnatches.
So how brave are you, boys?
That’s MISTER Dodo to you, bub. :-)
He’s very fancy!
I’m 100% sure that last flame shot from off-panel on purpose. 3rd wall breaking!
