Yay, comic! And starting off with a difficult establishing shot of the avalon. Buildings with multiple vanish points and trying to get human-sized characters in shot while keeping everything in proportion isn’t easy.
Am I getting the timeline wrong, or has the orientations gang been in Liverpool for more than a year now?
Because it seems strange for a curious person like Merial to only ask about that now. Unless she’s been too busy asking about water creatures I guess.
From a Doylist view I get it that she’d ask about it now, because it’s the first time she has an opportunity to ask on-screen, so it can be explained to the reader.

I think Michelle is right now being told off by an entitled Egyptian sphinx who doesn’t bother to explain anything.
