In other news, that door changes things. For one thing, Sam is either right about being a Mythic, or he was given a passkey to get through. For another thing, “the regular” was able to pass through. The chances of him being Bloodcarver are at an all time high.
I’m pretty sure that Tim is able to walk out of his own door, too, so the wards definitely have exceptions for known humans.
Is Tim even human anymore?

I haven’t heard anything about what those sigils actually check for. Could be that they check if it’s a human of not, or they could work on a passkey system, but could also be that they need to be given permission by Abbie or Tim.

Im seeing a theme of ‘monster’ discrimination in this chapter. I assume the live performance is a group of people who cant shapeshift who are assumed to be dangerous because of it :/
