So, non-griffon-related, do other liminals have mixes? For instance, I know there are onocentaurs and some Medieval images of Sagittarius have centaurs with a feline lower half (like this fellow here: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6a/Sagittarius2.jpg/220px-Sagittarius2.jpg). And there are also the scorpion men (aqrabuamelu) of Babylon myth. Are these real things in Skin Deep? Can other variants exist (a centaur with a camel lower half or bear lower half or so on)?

Hmmm, if you’re doing some serious predators (I absolutely loved the Shrike/Grasshopper mouse)… Tiger/Eagle-owl. The SIZE of it would just be massive; how do full-sized gryphons manage to get airborne, anyway? Thank you!
