Vera’s design has come a long way, but she’s always had tube socks and pink shorts. That’s how you know it’s Vera. The tube socks. And the hot pink hot pants.

Kinda looks like she stepped out of the GARGOYLES cartoon.
(I mean that in a good way. I liked that series as a kid.)
Sort of had the same thought. Now I wish we could have had a Gargoyles episode where the Gargoyles were in the 1970s instead of the 90s. That would have been cool.
Well they did have the Phoenix Gate. At least until Goliath purposefully got it lost in time.
Kory-has-covid-week has been very enlightening. I’m hoping that you have recovered and are in tip-top shape, Kory, but if you’re not, be aware we all are fine with you saying “I’m still not okay, tell you how I feel in the New Year”. Take the time to recover, you have the right to do so.
Hear, hear! Covid is no joke, I can attest
I was born august 2002!!!
pfft, that is a wonderful way of making someone feel really, really old.. . Myself included.
Glad you are feeling well again. I’ve had the Coof twice. It’s no fun at all.
When I saw this I thought for sure it was a take from the animated series Gargoyles. It’s so similar in style.
Omg, I can’t believe Vera is such an old character! It’s fun seeing what aspects of her original design have and haven’t carried over.
If I may offer a suggestion, a lot of these old drawings would be a welcome add-on to a future collection printing.
How’s Tony doing? Still not adjusting well to being a harpy? Has he tried flying at all?
