Watching this thing swim would be hilarious.
The Skin Deep Pin Club is open! This quarter’s theme is the LIVERPOOL AVALON, and come August all members will get two enamel pins based off Liverpool Avalon storefronts, and an EMBROIDERED PATCH of the Underground sign! I’ve never done embroidered patches before, so I’m really excited about this one! Click here for more information on how to join the Pin Club!

Given swans are some of the biggest assholes, but dachshunds are some of the sweetest dogs… What in the world would this thing’s personality be like?
I think the swan part might win, as black swans are even bigger pains than white swans – there’s been several attempts to introduce white swans to the lake here, but you’ll only find black swans, because they drove off the white ones.
Also, they do not care that your car weighs 100-200 times them, they’re walking here and you’d better …no, wait, they’re standing here, and you’re just going to have to wait your turn.
Any creatures with pterosaur-like wings?
The long ears on the Weinergoose make me giggle every time I look at them.
Dodo/Thylacine?
Hmmm… I feel the back half should’ve been a corgi for their notorious butt buoyancy. :0
So, how about a truly buoyant good boy: a Welsh Harlequin Duck/Corgi!
Business up front, party in the back.
The canine part of this critter is shaggier than any dachshund I’ve seen, except the one that was half poodle.
The dachshund is a much-ridiculed dog, but it’s a working breed that gets my respect (unless the AKC and their ilk have been flushing the health and intelligence while breeding for looks). As the name (German for “badger-dog”) suggests, it was bred to follow a badger into its den and come out alive.
Yeah, I too am a little thrown by how darned longfurred that longdog-swan looks like it is. I guess the feathers had an effect on fur growth, and it is growing extra length from all follicles.
Today’s German vocabulary is “Langhaardackel” …
