GRYPHON TIME. Pennent-winged nightjars have some of the strangest bird wings I’ve ever drawn. This would be a very screamy-beast.

But not as screamy as a possum-curlew.
I just realized I don’t think I’ve seen you draw a gryphon that’s something like a jaguar and a macaw. It’d probably be very fabulous.
Ayup, though it really could use some color. ;-)

Let me sing you the song of my people. “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”
Will blanche grow into a magic glowy orb like his dad as he ages?
Hmm, what would a peregrine falcon-cheetah gryphon look like?
I bet it would be the fastest gryphon alive
I’ve read that the peregrine falcon’s famous speed was measured in an attack dive rather than straight flight. Not that it dawdles in straight flight, but there might be a different bird that’s actually faster at flying from point A to point B.
And yes, the cheetah is the fastest sprinter.
“The record for the fastest confirmed level flight by a bird is 111.5 km/h (69.3 mph) held by the common swift.”

Well, cheetahs only sprint when going for prey, too… so if not the fastest at all times, this gryphon combo would certainly be the fastest sprinting gryphon. The sort of gryphon that, when you see them coming, either move over or get run over.
Have we had any Skunk griffins?
The Hoatzin, or “Stinkbird” just happens to have quite an aesthetic to go with a complementary olfactory… sensibility…
A skunk+hoatzin gryphon has been made not too long ago actually:

I yearn for a gryphon screaming competition.
