Here’s a question for Greg! How would he react if he went to Dog Patch and ran into his kin there? It was mentioned back in Greetings from Dogpatch that the Tragos family has been in Dogpatch a long time, after all.
Ophelia has a life as a human. While excuses can be made for Tomy as a minor (went to stay with extended family or some such), Ophelia can’t vanish so easily. She has a job qt the very least, possibly neighbors and friends who would notice her absence, a landlord who would definitely notice once rent is past due…Tony has it tough but if Ophelia turned back it would be catastrophic for her.
