Jim you can’t just ask someone when they’ve been shot. That’s rude.

So if for example I shot Lorne with a literal canon directly in the chest.
He could still die of organ damage and inner bleedings?
And since nothing can pierce his skin no doctor could operate him to save his live?
Man that must suck.
I mean a Nemean could cut him open and have the doctor fix him up.
Sealing the wound there after then…
I guess the other Nemean could poke holes along the cutline and they could stich him together then, but…
There are stick-on sutures, which would probably work well enough, especially if care was taken to make sure that the cuts were easy to close.
Though this does raise the question of if there are any Nemean Lion surgeons, and if so, how much of a habit they make of using their claws – on the one hand, they’d be a pain to keep surgically clean (possibly literally), but on the other hand, there wouldn’t be any disconnect between action and result – us humans are quite good at using tools as if they’re a part of us, but “quite good” isn’t perfect, and while I’d presume that mythics (or at the very least, humanoid mythics) would have similar abilities, that’s not actually certain.
With Nemean claws while surely being bloody sharp won’t cut as clean as a scalpel the smallest surgery will leave quite a scar…
“Dude! What happened there?! Looks like a lion ripped you apart!” ; )
And just like the watermelon in Buckaroo Banzai, this will never be mentioned again.
Goodness, has that logo up there been there a while? I just noticed the redesign now, that’s way cool.
Ooh, yes! It’s much nicer than the previous version. (The previous version was very difficult to distinguish from the background on my screen without squinting. The outline on the letters and the author name still blend in just a little too well, though.)
Hey, cool title art.
This reminds me, how happy is Dr. Hobbes when an unturned Nemean is born human instead of as a Nemean Lion cub?

Logo changed?! When did that happen?!

(Yes, there already have been discussions in the comments whether Nemean doctors would make surgical tools to use on other Nemeans out of their own claws.)

Lorne has come a long way since the days of his youth. He’s done things he isn’t proud of.
