Well if not wrong it can also sense treasure so yeah it is a VERY good pet to have.
Having a pet that can sense treasure is not necessarily a good thing, especially if said pet has a compulsion to get its paws on the treasure that it senses. Remember nifflers in the HP stories? Containing or controlling it could become a serious issue.

Well, in addition to being able to sense Gold and Treasures, they can only really be calmed by having a piece of gold. If you try to take their comfort gold, and yes, I’m sticking to that term, they become very violent, which would probably make them some of the best guard pets possible.
Imagine having one chilling out front with a golden plate. Every idiot thief would try to pilfer from it only to require medical attention after making their escape.
I wonder how creature known for being multiple , like kamitatchi triplets would be. Are the actual 1 hivemind, or is the “need” bit a lie.
I’m sure he’s a Pokémon. I caught one like that in a car park in Brugge.
