Everyone knows punxsutawney phil is a bugbear
All in all you are a very dying race,
Placing trust upon a cruel world.
You never had the things thought you should have had
And you’ll not get them now.
And all the while in perfect time,
Your tears are falling on the ground.
(Squonk—Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford.)
Coincidentally, I really wanted to hear this on the way home tonight (before I read this). SIRI could not figure out what I was talking about (played Mr Crowley instead?!). I did get it to go (live version) and am now happy to have a double Squonk day
Oh no poor squonk…believe in yourself you’d make a great punxsutawney phil
I think you can keep that one PA…yeesh.
We don’t have anything up here but Wendigo and Monster bears and moose.
Prairie dogs deserve all the love..
I think in Ohio all we got is Mothman, the Loveland Frog Men, and South Bay Bessie…
How about a cougar and seahawk Griffon?
As a PA native, we love the squonk. They are woefully underappreciated.
