An old magnetic tape probably isn’t a magic item; unless she wandered into a Japanese horror movie by mistake.
Michelle. I know this is a very personal question, but…
…since you are the last known member of an entire species. Don’t you sometimes think that you’re basically obligated to have as many children as possible to avoid exctinction?
Magical creature or not, I’d think there would still be concerns about inbreeding . . . and trying to breed to much! She’s still a person, not a brood mare.
Thanks to the medallions she can have children with males from other species.
It’s a 50/50 chance that she will give birth to a new Sphinx, but that’s still high enough to bring enough Spinx kittens/babies into the world.
Same would go for her children, grandchildren and so on until enough generations have passed and it’s no inbreeding anymore.
But yes. She ain’t no brood mare.
I can only imagine the answer to this lies somewhere between “I’m sure there are other sphinxes in hiding somewhere” and “I don’t want to think about it”
I’m sure the voices emanating from this lamp promising untold power and riches are completely benign, lol!
What do you think about myrmecoleons? And would they have medallions?
Just don’t touch any oil lamps, medallions, talismans, or dibbuk boxes.
My last comment didn’t show up for some reason, but I was curious to circumstances that would cause a medallion-ed person to involuntarily shift forms? Things like nightmares, sickness, or strong emotion?
Also, how does giving up a medallion work? Is there something specific you need to say/do/feel and can you pick which form you’re stuck with once you give it up?
I don’t want to be ‘that guy’ but literally everything you read is writing from the past.
I didn’t say I wasn’t going to be ‘that guy’, just that I didn’t want to.
“Surely lightning wouldn’t strike twice.”
*picks up a old horseshoe and gets hooves..*
“OH FFS!”
