Now I really want to know who Greg’s favourite Transformer is. I bet he’d have an excellent reason for why they are the best, too.
Not to throw any shade at Grimlock, of course, ’cause Grimlock is his own kind of awesome.
Hot take: Hot Rod is a good character.
Being born in ‘97, I was lucky enough for my first exposure to Transformers being the 1986 animated movie, as it meant I had zero prior attachment to Optimus Prime and thus wasn’t instantly made averse to Hot Rod out of sheer trauma.
‘Til all are one!
Also, now I want to see Paul and his parents reacting to Optimus Prime’s death (after getting a VHS copy of Transformers: The Movie (1986))
