That’s awful! I feel so bad for her!
There are three assumptions implied by that question that may or may not be correct.
1) That she needs wings to fly.
2) That she needs sight to fly.
3) That she was ever able to fly in the first place.
Okay, now I’m curious: Who is that talking with Eleanor in the 4th panel?

Too small to be sure, but I think it’s one of Sfe Monster’s characters, a qilin named Newton.
Small correction: Newton is an eastern dragon.
