Am I they only one looking at the last panel and thinking their wings are too small? The span/cord is far too small for their sizes, so they HAVE to have some component of magic to keep them up, right?


I agree completely disproportionate


It’s magic.

And/or they’re actually very light for their size and their wings can support them just fine.


Creatures with avian characteristics may have semi-hollow bones, or some other form of inherit biological compensation.


If Jim had hollow bones, he would have taken far more damage fighting the Momo. I’m going with a) the perspective makes their wings look smaller than they really are, and 2) magic.
