This will be the last page of 2021! I am off to Midwest Furfest tomorrow! If you’re going, come say hello! I’m one of the Guests of Honor!

I’ve decided to take the rest of the month off from updating so I can do the first convention I’ve done in two years, recover from that, and then do the Holidays with my family! Thank you for reading and see you in 2022!

I knew it, she has to be the Mistress. But what does that mean for Michelle and Bloodcarver?

The dreaded honk spell

there were class in D&D built around “wild magic”
rather than randomize the parameter of the spells, our GM altered the effects. Making them more powerful as per the class but replacing the random failure and weakness by making the result whimsical and partial.

in particular, a silence area spell was converted in an area were people could only emit sound by barking.
walk ? your footstep is a loud bark. throw a rock ? its fall sound is a deep whoof. the cat ? now speaks dog. the bard ? can still use his skill at a sharp debuff (instead of not at all in a true silence area) with a very melodic concerto for two dogs.

Given that the spell was thrown by an opponent in an attempt to be discrete, which backfired rather spectacularly, the confusion was multi level.

Enjoy the trip, even if I’m left wondering where in the Midwest this is being held? I live in Wisconsin, so I’m well aware that hosting a fur-based event in our climate makes sense, but I’ve never heard of this.

Did she just honk a dragon’s nose?

I think she squished whole dragon making air escape from the lungs very fast, like a giant dog toy

There’s something so cool about how the dragons in this comic make such normal animal sounds. It’s a bummer that they’ve ben distress noises so far, but it’s a really nice touch that grounds these famously fantastical creatures in realism by having them vocalize like dinosaurs.

(I say dinosaurs because they’re the closest thing to real dragons, hompks and shrieks make sense for dinosaurs: the OG birds of Earth, and also this is Kory Bing why wouldn’t there be dino science peppered in there.)
