Happy April everybody! I don’t have anything interesting to say this week, so enjoy the comic!

That’s hilarious, but seriously, how do we REALLY escape?
“…What.”
Nothing interesting is good.
As famously misattributed as a Chinese curse (more likely invented by polarizing British imperialist politician Joseph Chamberlain), better not to “live in interesting times”.
They’ll have to submit to being in an even more vulnerable position later, I wager.
What sort of collateral do demons have to offer in turn…?
Aaahh. Bloodcarver snuggles!
Wonder what the Skin Deep version of Dis will look like. Probably not the heavy metal gargantuan gothic grandeur of Wayne Barlowe’s depictions, nor the dismal decayed decadence of Zdzisław Beksiński’s depictions.
In fact, I half-expect something that looks like a “normal” modern city, complete with egregious advertising everywhere and aggressive vehicular traffic.
Given the previous explanations about the short life of dragons’ constructions in Dis, I’d guess that either the city will look a lot more mundane building-wise, or those demons are wasting a lot of fine magical power on keeping it fancy …
Interesting ideas! I’m going to go for living buildings, similar to the Hellmouths but completely different to them.
That seems like a worse idea.
Yeah. The way the others wanted to take her too. Nothing sus about that…
I really like the moment with Michelle and Bloodcarver
Can we just take a moment to appreciate Blood Carver? Maybe I’m misreading it but it looks like he’s ready to defend her and I’m just so happy that he’s growing as a character.
Yeah, he looms his head protectively and she doesn’t even bat an eye at it.
“We’re gonna go get some tacos, and it’s gonna be good.”
The whole leaning-over-Mich’s-shoulder thing is kind of cute.
…Maybe they can get by unnoticed if Bloodcarver, the giant and strikingly red dragon tiptoes?
He’s being genuinely protective of her now. Obviously feeling a lot of guilt and anger over this situation and their betrayal – that’s a ‘fool me once…’ stance.
I dunno, how often do dragons travel to the city to be emissaries or such?
I’d guess that ’em city slickers would like to see a disgraced dragon coming in to grovel before the demon leaders and plead for a new, personal trade …
“Hey, do you have something hidden up there in your wing folds!?”
“No, someon… oops …”
that shoulder lean is the best thing i’ve seen all day ^_^
At which point does the “so bad at convincing” loop around to being convincing ?
in the meaning of “she is so clueless about other people perspective, she cannot be a manipulator”
I really like the body language of Bloodcarver curling protectively over Michelle.
