Just noticed the little griffin flying around back there.
hehheh
Flying lessons seem to be paying off.
Ah, but that’s just it! He LISTENS to her, and thinks about what she’s saying…which is why he’s clued into the fact that she’s not being entirely rational. Yes, I’m being nice.
I love the detail in the back that shows just how “ordinary” everything in the avalon is. The sign talking about shoeing and trimming services for creatures with hooves. It’s like a haircut almost :D I also love the “We do not shoe Bugganes or other shapeshifters” bit.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Alec was behind the shapeshifter part.
anyone else notice the LONG GREEN HAIR in the last panel?
ye
Where did the two horsemen go into? The stables?
Thank you, Kory, for splendidly delivering THIS point, subtly as it may have been. (Which actually feels like the perfect way to do it.)
YAAAAAS JIMOTHY AND LORNE!
I’ve been rereading for like….the billionth time…and I love this webcomic so much!I have to say it’s my favourite one of all, which is…really intense. Cause I like a lot.
Don’t make Jacksfilms roast us.
We don’t need crappy 2010’s memes spammed here!
Re:
I would like to apologize for making this comment Biblo, back then I thought it would be funny, but re-reading it now it comes off as jerkish, especially without the context on what I was trying to refer to.
I’m sorry.
That first panel reminds me of my cousin. Christa,
Wait, so if there are things that can’t talk in full form, but you don’t get your medallion until you’re 10-ish then do they just go without speaking for a long time or what?
Details I noticed on this readthrough: the book on Greek mythology appears to have an alpha on the front cover and an omega on the back (and nothing else), and panel 4 has a buggane apparently about to get his hooves trimmed. Also, nailing pieces of metal onto shapeshifters really does sound like a bad idea to me. Depending on how the shapeshifting works, the nails could end up either embedded into feet or falling out.

Kory has high attention to detail!
