This scene has been one of my absolute favorites to write. Wonderland is frustrating and obnoxious, but it’s fun to write!

Oh boy. Yeah Wonderland’s frustrating
Its almost starting to seem like “beware the jubjub bird” is about how they’re one of the few species that have their heads on straight in wonderland and thus are more of a threat due to their potential for cunning and sensibility.
I… I GUESS this might explain why nobody remembers seeing Jabberwock, but they still tell cautionary stories about it… Do these folks all have Alzheimer’s?? (Are these three representative of whole Wonderland? Are these members of a small population so inbred it has started to affect their brains?) Or do they simply not care??? Or is it something far more nefarious, like an Avalon-wide mind-affecting magical effect? Excuse me while I shudder in a corner…
They’re all mad there.
Mad as a hatter, one might say
Yes, but partly no. Mostly yes.
It wouldn’t be Wonderland if it didn’t make you wonder…
Anybody else’s head hurting yet because mine is.
Wonderlanders, go figure.
What is going on? Are they crazy, or is it some part of the culture to try to drive the other person crazy?
It’s wonderland, of course they’re all mad
Everyone is talking about the dialog, and I’m just “d’aaaaw”ing over Rupert’s wagging his tail feathers.
I miss when things used to make sense. I’m pretty sure that was around… page 2 of the first chapter. Probably.
Was wondering what the March Hare was going to contribute.
Beware the Jub Jub bird as they are confusing
Y’all confused and frustrated and I’m just happy to see Rupert happy.
“Your right!”
He did what was asked to be done XD
This seems like a terrible place for a child to grow up in.
… I’m not sure that I’d want to call what probably happens to kids in Wonderland as they age “growing up” … :-S
… can we just stick with these card players for a while? they’re a *riot*!
This inherently addled madness reminds me that anything capable of mutating your hands into flippers is capable of mutating your brain into a diseased and insane brain.
When discoursing in wonderland, one must listen around the lines.. .
Btw; does anybody else see the rabbit cheating? xD

Those guys look a bit scatterbrained
To trust the tales, but not too much, to listen to what people say without being credulous, with a slightly skeptical eye- that sounds like wisdom to me.
