I know!!! Its got me wondering. Like who is this guy? I mean its one thing to be let in but if Abbie know’s him.

We know that Dean & Lily spend at least part of their drinking time at the Drunken Satyr instead of the Underground. Maybe they just haven’t been there at the right times to cross paths with him. Other people in the scene act like they’ve seen him in passing before, even if they haven’t spoken to him.
This is entirely possible. I guess we shall see
Maybe “Richard” lives in a tiny studio apartment in the Delta Apartments building. He’d want to get out and stretch his legs occasionally.

Back on the splash page, it looked like Colin was carrying a tray through the crowd. Is that him behind the bar now, in light that makes his blue hair look green? Or is that someone else entirely?
Good to see those kids from the start of the chapter made it through and are having a good time. I don’t see the impatient heckler either, so she might’ve either left or GOT left for being too rude.

That may be Purple-Hair at the bottom edge of the first panel. Judging by her eyes & brows, she seems alarmed verging on catatonic.

Can’t help but note one of the dimutives of the name “Richard” is somewhat appropriate for Bloodcarvers personality. But perhaps it is someone new, that would be cool too.

I recognize two more characters whose names escape me at the moment. The first is the ubiquitous lamia who works at the bakery. The second is a “maybe-later” Bohemian lion character we’ve seen in RQs.
I don’t remember if he was given a name in that RQ but I do remember that in one of the two he showed up in, he had a big buff human girlfriend! I saw him and went “THAT GUY!” ROFL
Abby’s joke about Dis carries the undertone that “Richard” has been there.

Judging by the fact that Greg isn’t worried out of his skull (even though this is over two years, story time, since Michelle went to Limbo with ‘Carver), it looks like they returned a while ago. Being reunited doesn’t mean they have to spend every second of every day together. I’m guessing she’s simply busy with something elsewhere at the moment. I’ll be surprised if we don’t see her by the end of the chapter.

My mistake. I just went back and checked the dates given at the starts of the story arcs. Obverse & Reverse began some time in September 2005, and everything that’s happened so far in The Monster’s Loose is on 24 October 2006. So, it’s just over a year, with no explanation yet as to exactly what the date was at the end of O & R, when the trio escaped from Dis. (Judging by the summerish weather at the end, they were either in Limbo for only a few days, or for several months.)
Oops! I misread the date. It’s 29 October 2006; five days closer to Halloween!
Maybe Michelle is working overtime in Michelle’s Monster Medallion Mill.

I get it. That could be BC. Thinking on it, this isn’t a story of Michelle being a Smith, or jewelscrafter. The time skip makes sense. If they figured out something experimental, this let’s us jump into that instead of pages of training and frustration montage…or at least, let’s us focus on the parts of the montage the artist wants to focus on.
New to this story and so far I’m loving it.
I figured it out. He doesn’t want to come into the Avalon the “official” way to avoid the official guard… and Alec was replaced by a spell because he did let a “human” into the Avalon for a laugh. (Some satyr bastard and Madame U is mad because those medallions don’t turn much of a profit.)
I love how I recognise different characters just by their looks.
Your cast of characters is always so colorfull, eveyrone has this one thing you instantly recognise them by. Even in a crowded field
