I haven’t heard any pieces of folklore or myths about raptors living in South America today, but Buitreraptor lived in Argentina in the Cretaceous period and was really weird! It had a super long, thing snoot that other raptors didn’t have!

Well i heard there is a cryptid in Zambia called kongamato that is pretty much a pterosaur.
Usually, long and thin snout means fish eater.

Oh man, this is like a Roadrunner from hell! Considering the plumage of a lot of South American birds, I wonder what this beautiful thing’s feather colors were like– wouldn’t it be wild if it were colored like a Scarlet Macaw or a Trogon? <3
