I saved the best for last for Gryphon Week 2: this thing.
It’s perfect. It is a perfect creature. Look at this thing. Wow.

Nakey!
Diogene : “Behold a man”
A man with wings. *gasp* AN ANGEL. BE NOT AFRAID.
I think even he’d hold off on this version, since gryphons are quadrupeds, but… what if [in some Skin Deep AU where this kind of gryphon exists] Diogenes was this kind of gryphon?
I mean, *obviously* he’s actually a bugbear who’s more dedicated to irritating than scaring, but if he weren’t, maybe this is what he’d be.
does it taste like its chicken or its cat part?
(cats are said to taste like rabbit, though I have no personal experience in that regard)
Why would cats, obligate carnivores, taste like rabbits which herbivores?
They aren’t even particularly related either so it’s not like how gators taste like fishy chicken or just chicken depending on what they’ve been eating.
I don’t know, I said I heard they taste like rabbit, never tried.
And why wouldn’t they. Gators and Frogs aren’t related very closely either, yet they both taste like fishy chicken (at least the latter I have eaten once before)
I suspect that they get mistaken for cockatices all the time.
Poems exist expressing dignified dismay at thos indignity.
That should be
‘mistaken for cockatrices’
(darn fingers, never do what I tell them.)
This is horrid.
I love it.
Guess it’s one gryphon that can’t fly (chickens can’t fly)
Many breeds can fly at least short distances. This one obviously can’t.
Arguably it can’t fly because it doesn’t have feathers on its chicken wings
O___O…… I think I have a new sleep-paralysis demon… **hides under the couch**
Chickens can in fact fly just they just usually don’t because they’re ground-nesting birds, we usually clip their wings so they can’t fly off and get eaten or hit by a car, and finally because most chickens are raised for meat and thus very, very obese.
Of course this one can’t since it lacks feathers to fly with, but that’s a quirk of the breed, not the species.
that is jsut a cockatrice.
Yesss I love it! XD
Woe be to any who do not wake in time to serve this nudie’s breakfast. You’ll certainly hear about it, aggressively, right in your ear… and for the rest of your life, once the tinnitus sets in…
Michelle mentioned making two medallions, both for species that disn’t have them before. I’m guessing one was for Bloodcarver, was the other for Anthony?
Here’s a question, are the Krsnik and Kudlak a thing?
I love that this glorious mess is also pigeon-toed.
I’ve heard sphynxes lovingly called “rotisserie chickens” so much, this has me laughing.
Thanks, I hate it!
Actually I love it because I love sphynx kitties.
I think we’re spared some of the horror because it’s not in color.
