Honestly scared to figure out where the comic was 10 years ago because it’s not going to be nearly as far back as I expect it to be.

I see a Bohemian lion napping next to the cathedral. I don’t think it’s Rhonda, so is it Django? And that cat napping with him definitely looks like it came from Wonderland.
Ten years ago? Seems like only yesterday! Some of the earlier work does seem like a long time ago though. Odd to think I’ve been reading your story for about half my sodding life.
I realise that you already know this, Kory, but your art and storytelling skills are absolutely incredible, and I really enjoy just poring over each page looking at each little background story as well as the main tale. Thankyou for making such a remarkable comic book.

Woah, ten years ago? Damn. Time sure flies by, huh? So that was back in Illumination, during chapter 1 I believe so?
Anyways, as a Human, I would like to celebrate this rare human W for this cool church our ancestors built for the mythical community!
I found a panel of the church in handshakes 30 with a quick skip through the plotlines inside the avalon
Immagine what a rollercoaster for quadrupedals could look like. :)
For sentient quadrupeds, I imagine it might look like car seats / car harnesses for dogs / other similarly shaped critters.
For children of such species, might need extra precautions, maybe.
That actually IS a fascinating adaptation. By depicting the four evangelists as mythicals, the missionaries were acknowledging the mythicals as equals, not simply potential converts. Making sure the depictions reflect the people the church was intended to serve.
Missionary work is still… not great, usually. There are lots of historical examples of missionary work being used to destroy culture. The symbolism speaks to good intentions, at least.
Just occurred to me, Michelle now have glowing eyes in her human form as well?
Not necessarily. She’s not fully in human form. Remember that the medallion allows pretty much anything inbetween… and she’s had time to practice with it.

Greg is doing pretty well trying to keep his personal interest in medallion science relatively low key. I am sure he is hoping for a possible answer to his problem.
Poor Meesh is finding the joys and frustrations of historic research… you keep finding hundreds of answers to interesting questions you never asked without finding the answer to the one that you started with!
My favorite example of this was the time I completely forgot the original topic I intended for a final paper because the original source material I had to request was in such bad shape it was a brought out in a box that also held some other equally wrecked old books with information so much weirder and more interesting that I made a ton of notes for those instead and immediately went to the teacher to announce I was changing my topic. That paper also gave me a professor that I really respected telling me, “I wish I could have given you higher than an A+”. I think I was giddy all day.
So if Michelle is still trying to figure out medallions, that kind of squishes all the speculation on who the mysterious guy at the bar was at the beginning of this story, doesn’t it?
