How about the french Tarasque? Did you already talk about this one?
I’m Pretty sure she did. Look in the past posts and I am sure you will find a Tarasque.
The Tarasque was RQ number 53 from this series, way back in late June.
Thanks so much !
Great to see a creature from my homeland :) Would Taniwha be a medallion species? There’s some legends that talk about them being in different shapes between the sea and inland (including a “disconcerting log”), but I can’t remember anything about them being able to change into humans though there are stories about them taking human partners and humans becoming taniwha…
Are Florida’s Skunk Ape or the Grass Man of the midwest real? And what about Ogopogo~?
Skunk Apes are confirmed to exist in Skin Deep.
Read the story Greetings From, Dogpatch.
If human science were ever to resurrect an extinct species, would that species’ totem return as well?
ok now i want to know that too
hell, when/how did any individual totem, like, come into being?? when an evolutionary branch began to fork did these ppl just bud off each other or what
Yes! I love the Taniwha! He looks like he’d cruise around the Wellington Harbour all chill.
There are other Maori creatures, like the Manaia, who has the body of a man, the head of a bird and the tail of a fish.
Dogs can become ghosts and Marta seems to act just as she did when alive. How does that work for ghosts of people? Can you ask them about the afterlife?
Bonus question: Is the Flying Dutchman real in this universe?
*slides in all:* Hell yes, NZ representation~.
