How far CAN totems travel? Are they bound to the continent, or could Eustace and Marshall visit, say, the Liverpool Avalon?
Kory hasn’t said, but /if/ totems are confined to the range of their species, Eustace and Marshall are not very tightly confined, at all. Red foxes in North America and Europe and Asia (including Japan) are the same species, but there are recognized subspecies. Eustace would be “confined” to almost the entire northern hemisphere.
I suspect that ravens are at least as wide-spread.
But does she know where the twenty-foot Burmese python is?

Is she… is she wearing alligator skin boots?
I think those are just her feet.
“These? Oh, my ex-husband gave me these boots,” she said with a mysterious smile.
Would it be weird if she wore Crocs instead of her fancy shoes? You know, for when she’s going to Walmart or the bait shop.
