… do these charms need to be visible to work, rather than sitting in a pocket or somesuch? I mean, to someone who knows what they are, Michelle must now look as inconspicuous as someone in full police riot gear to us …

…but then again, the luck part, that someone would probably see a totally interesting bird or whatever that very moment instead of laying eyes on Meesh…

(also, we had characters both good and “bad” who recognised her collection of luck charms immediately, the bad ones chalking their failure up to them previously as well…)

It’s been done. I have to go to work soon so I don’t have time to trawl through the Reader Question archive to link it, but it’s been done.
