Even while otherwise in full satyr form, human hands can be useful for things like playing a banjo or holding a beer. Other than that? Not so much.
Nah, if you look closely on the comtemplating Greg you will see what seems to be an opposable thumb. Combine that with the other two fingers (granted that they perform at least as well as a regular index and middlefinger) and you have a perfectly servicable hand.
However it might be handy to be able to turn partly for certain things, like giving something a solid kick without going fullform.
A three-fingered, hoof-tipped hand is still pretty lacking in manual dexterity compared to a human hand, though.
