Finally michelle understands the first rule of adventuring in an eldritch realm, not everything need to be questioned.
That is the face which says “Sharp rocks at the bottom? Bring it on”.
Oh, Michelle. Don’t make promises you ain’t about to keep…
You have to admire how easy it is to just give up on knowing anything about anything when you found out you aren’t even human a year or two ago
And that demons, angels, dragons, and all sorts of ‘mythological’ creatures are real…
i love every single facial expression on this page.
Main question I would have: with a three-ton dragon standing here, why the Hades am I doing the pushing?
My thoughts exactly!
With all due luck…
“You don’t push, you ain’t boarding.”
“But why though?”
“Hell.”
“Ah, so like push it here?”
No time to explain; push the boat.
I’m surprised *more* demons don’t try to leave this plane…then again, maybe they _do_ try and we just don’t know about it.
I mean most demons don’t have access to a sphinx. I strongly suspect that’s gonna play into things.
I wonder how well Vera will do once she does reach the mortal world.
And I don’t recall what place this boat has in the mythology. Something to do with the river Styx maybe?
In Dante’s Inferno, the Fifth Circle is defined by the Styx, yes.
Phlegyas is the usual boatman, but it appears that right now…
The demon plane; Where even sarcasm goes to die, apparently.
Thank goodness they have Bloodcarver to help, I don’t know how strong demons or sphynxes are but that boat looks heavy. ESPECIALLY on sand
Guessing River of Styx is next.
Don’t ask questions you don’t want answers to, Michelle.
Also, don’t ask questions you *do* want answers to. Or questions you think you might already know the answers to. Or questions that probably don’t *have* answers. Or…
Actually, best to just avoid any questions at all.
Vera: *pushing and straining*
Michelle: *pushing and straining*
Bloodcarver “Oh FFS…” *SHOVE*
[circle changes]
Vera: “Yeah, nicely done. Now are YOU gonna swim in that to get the boat back? Cuz I aint.”
Hi!
I’ve had Skin Deep on my list of comics to try for two years, and now I am finally caught up! Adding it to my list of comics to check regularly.
