I think maybe you misspelled “faun” under the first sketch. Because what you actually wrote makes no sense.
Do kitsune in Skin Deep gain tails and become kyuubi over time? or are kyuubi something different? Are kitsune and gumiho different species or the same species with different cultures and ethnic origins? (I might just want to see you draw a very smug kitsune >.>)
Check out Question 7 from October 2012. It says that kitsune become more powerful over time, and the pictured kitsune has two tails.
